Hello!! Foodies!!! Hope it's all well. So today I came with a new and interesting sweet dish.This desert recipe is very delightful. Today I am making an Indian sweet desert recipe Parwal Ki Mithai. This recipe is made from pointed-guard vegetable which is being filled by condensed milk containing some dry fruits and some flavour enhancing cardamom. So let's begin the making of parwal ki mithai recipe in english.

Parwal Mithai 

                PARWAL KI MITHAI 

PREPARATION TIME : 45 MINUTES
INGREDIENTS :- 


  1. POINTED GUARD (PARWAL ; PATOL) 500 
  2. CONDENSED MILK ( KHOYA ) 250 grams
  3. SUGAR 250 GRAMS 
  4. BAKING SODA 1/4 tsp 
  5. CASHEW NUTS 50 grams 
  6. RAISINS 30 grams 
  7. PISTACHIO 30 grams 
  8. GREEN CARDAMOM POWDER 1 tsp 
  9. POWDERED SUGAR 2 tbsp
  10. MUSK SEEDS ( OPTIONAL )
  11. SILVER WARK ( OPTIONAL ) 
  12. ROSE WATER FOR SPREADING

Parwal ki mithai recipe :- 

  • First of all wash all the pointed guards and cut them with middle without breaking it into two pieces. 
  • Remove all the seeds of the pointed-guard carefully without breaking it. 
  • Now boil the pointed-guard in 1 cup of water by adding some baking soda into it. 
  • Boil it for 10 to 12 minutes for soft pointed guards. 
  • When the pointed-guard get somehow soft , then put off the gas flame and let them cool. 
  • Heat a pan and add 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water in it and make a sugar syrup. 
  • Your sugar syrup will get ready in 8 to 10 minutes.

  • Add all the boiled pointed guards into this sugar syrup and keep it for 5 to 8 minutes and then take it out for cooling. 

  • For stuffing :-

  • Add fine chopped cashews and pistachios into the  container  containing condensed milk. 
  • Add raisins and cardamom powder and mix all these mixtures properly.
  • Add 2 tbsp of powdered sugar and mix well. 
  • You can also add some musk seeds to make it tatse better. 
  • Now your stuffing is ready to get filled into the pointed guards. 
  • Take a pointed guard and fill the stuffing carefully as much as possible..
  • Do the same with all the pointed guards carefully without breaking it into two parts. 
  • Keep all the stuffed pointed guards into refrigerator for 30 minutes. 
  • After 30 minutes take it out of the refrigerator and garnish it with some chopped pistachios. 
  • Spread some gulab jal and coat it with silver wark if you can.  
  • Your parwal ki mithai is ready , enjoy it with your friends and relatives.
